To whom it may concern:

Phil Selman was hired by our organization to do a comedy show on January 21, 2011 for our members. He was hired rather late notice and had little time to prepare. l spent a short period of time speaking with him by phone the week before the engagement, and then approximately thirty minutes before the show started. l was amazed that he had researched our organization on his own, and his jokes were oriented to our group. He also involved the audience with his routine, and it was very well received and funny.

If your club or organization is interested in hiring Mr. Selman, you will be pleased with what he can do for you. He didn’t do jokes l had heard before. His routine was fresh, and as stated before, his comments were oriented to our group. I would highly recommend him.
